Good afternoon,
The August 2026 Citizen Advocate Meeting will be held in person at Denver Women's Correctional Facility. There will not be a way to attend virtually.
Meeting date and time: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 2:30 pm to 4 pm.
RSVP Deadline: Friday, August 7th at 5 pm. Please RSVP by email to cd...@state.co.us Please be aware that only those individuals who RSVP to the meeting will be admitted to it.
IMPORTANT:
If you are an approved visitor on an inmate's visiting list, you will need to provide the name and DOC# of the person you are approved to visit. You will NOT need to submit a new consent to search form if you are an approved visitor.
If you are NOT currently an approved visitor on an inmate's visiting list, you must complete and submit a consent to search form (attached) with your RSVP.
Meeting Format & Topic Submission: CDOC has revised its Citizen Advocate Meeting format. We are no longer accepting specific questions to be addressed at the meeting. The meetings will include a brief update at the beginning of the meeting from each division director. Thereafter, we will break out into small groups to allow for you to speak directly with subject matter experts to have your questions answered.
