So I can make sure to reserve enough space for us. How many of you
would be able to make a Sat, Nov 1 2008 release party? We also have
the 2nd if that works best for everyone.

I'll be in the Canonical London office for the release so I won't be
joining you for 8.10. Enjoy the party.

If I came it would be on saturday... that being said my attendance is
up in the air until the week of just about any event these days.

To repeat the question of another, what time

However, whatever the time, I don't see a reason I would not be able to make it. That is the advantage of having no life, your schedule is often quite free, lol

I think I can make a Saturday, and if it is early enough, bring the family.

Nick,

Did you see this at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IntrepidReleaseParties
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
IntrepidIbex is coming, scheduled for release in October 2008.
If you want to organise a release party:

* Read this guide to how to run a party.
* Join the ubuntu-event-planners mailing list (do this at https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Ubuntu-event-planners) where you can find other event organisers to get help and advise from.

If you have a release party scheduled, be sure to:

* Add it to this page.
* Blog about it, advertise it, tell your friends, tell local media, tell podcasts and otherwise promote it.
* Join the IRC channel #ubuntu-release-party on irc.freenode.net
* If you post photos to Flickr, please tag them with "Ubuntu", "Release", "Party", "2008", and "Intrepid"

Ditto for me. Mo said if you want posters though, she'd be happy to put some
ideas together.

Alright. We will shoot for Saturday, Nov 1 2008 @ 6:30pm at Gordon
Biersch. If this date and time works I will make the reservation
tomorrow or the next day, for 15 to 20? Not sure if thats enough so
speak up if you wish to come.

I will be posted our info to that Wiki page once confirmed as well as
to the website.

Just a quick update. I haven't forgot to book the room and we are
still on for Nov 1st. I have to wait tell Monday afternoon to get a
hold of the manager for such a big group of people. So I can reserve
the room.

Add 3 from System76. Do we want to print flyers again this year?
