I was just wondering if we are still holding monthly IRC meetings for CoLoCo (#ubuntu-us-co - irc.freenode.net)?  I have not seen a meeting invitation pop up on my Google Calendar since February I believe.

Also, I see that in addition to the ubuntu...@lists.ubuntu.com mailing list, we also have colora...@lists.launchpad.net through Launchpad.  Which is now the primary email to send out to the list?  This message is being sent to both of those addresses.

Just curious.  Thanks!

As far as the current stance from all LoCo's the lists.ubuntu.com are
still going to remain as the primary mailing lists. As for the Monthly
meetings. We kind of stopped holding those as number of people
attending wasn't very high. If we start wishing to host more events.
We can bring this back and start getting more of them put together.

Nick, thank you for the clarification.  I recall that meeting attendance was not always very high; sometimes it's tough for folks to find time to meet, as we're all busy I'm sure.  Perhaps there might be interest in holding meetings on IRC every other month, or once ever three months.  Anyone have thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Sorry, but if I do not find a job soon I will not be in Colorado much
longer, no income for three months is getting to the wife. It is too
bad as there seems to be a large Ubuntu following in Denver/Boulder
area.

Hello guys,

I am new to the CoLoCo team and would be interested in an IRC meeting at some point.  I joined the team in the interest of getting involved in a project and helping out Ubuntu dev in some fashion.  Lately I haven't had much time to get involved (currently on vacation), but I will be more available next week.

Thanks,
~Heath
