Samsung’s newest foldables finally arrive at Unpacked

Following weeks of rumors and leaks, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a completely new design.

Wednesday, July 22, 2026 The 6 biggest announcements from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Samsung revealed its newest slate of foldables at this summer’s Galaxy Unpacked, which took place in London. In addition to a Galaxy Z Fold 8 that adopts a wider, passport-like form factor, Samsung showed off its new Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with a crease you can barely see and a refreshed Z Flip 8, which has some new features for its cover screen. We saw some new wearables as well, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 that comes with a larger battery and a thinner case, alongside a Galaxy Watch 9 equipped with an upgraded chip.
