Hey, folks! We’ve been up since the crack of dawn scouring for the best deals available as part of Amazon's October Prime Day event. Our day one roundup features nearly 200 discounts across several categories, including the lowest prices we've seen on Verge favorites like the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and Apple's base iPad. And if you’ve been searching for a new laptop, well, you can save hundreds on some of our favorite models.
However, if you’re sticking to a budget, there are plenty of great deals to be had for under $100, a few of which we’ve rounded up below. For instance, you can save 34 percent off a four-pack of Apple’s AirTag trackers. These can help you keep track of your belongings while you’re traveling this holiday season. And if you’re in the mood to build, Lego's adorable Grogu set — which comes with its own hover bassinet — is 30 percent off.

8BitDo’s Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller received a nice update earlier this year, adding more buttons, interactive LED lighting, and tunneling magneto-resistance (TMR) joysticks that are even more durable than the Hall effect sticks everyone was raving about a year or two ago. If you’ve been playing a lot of games on the Nintendo Switch 2, the Ultimate 2 is a solid alternative to the more expensive Switch 2 Pro Controller — and right now it’s down to an all-time low of $49.99 ($20 off) at Amazon.
The Ultimate 2’s triggers still use Hall effect sensors for improved accuracy and reliability. However, 8BitDo has introduced a switch that lets you swap their behavior between longer draw triggers ideal for racing games and short pull tactile triggers for quicker responses while playing first-person shooters. The gamepad also features an extra pair of customizable shoulder buttons, and works with the OG Switch, Switch 2, and PC.

It’s not often that a four-pack of AirTag trackers drops below $70. Luckily, thanks to Prime Big Deal Days, you can grab a set at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy for $64.99, which essentially matches its all-time low.
AirTags are a great companion for iPhone users, as they allow for accurate and reliable tracking of your belongings. You can slide one into your purse, luggage, or gaming handheld case to keep tabs on its location. They also feature a built-in speaker, a user-replaceable battery, and Apple's ultra-wideband chip, which makes locating them more manageable via Apple's robust Find My network. In most cases, the iPhone associated with your tracker should display its approximate location in case you lose track of it (or the airline does). Read our original review.

If your everyday carry includes a phone, smartwatch, and wireless earbuds, a 3-in-1 charging stand is a must-have for your desk or nightstand. Right now, Twelve South’s HiRise 3 Deluxe is more than half off at Amazon, dropping the price to an all-time low of $71.24 (about $79 off).
The 3-in-1 stand’s main wireless pad is MagSafe-compatible, which means it can supply up to 15W of power to newer iPhone models. The stand can also simultaneously fast-charge a compatible Apple Watch and top off a pair of AirPods, and includes a power supply (with travel adapters) to deliver enough juice over its 5-foot USB-C cable. While it doesn’t support the fastest charging speeds available, the HiRise 3 Deluxe's compact 3-in-1 design makes it a solid option, especially at over 50 percent off.

🧱 Lego's Star Wars Grogu set is now matching its all-time low of $69.99 ($30 off) at Amazon. The 1,048-piece set features an adorable baby Grogu and his hovering pram (even in Lego form, he’s still so dang cute). He can be displayed in or out of the pram, and you can also pose his head and adjust his arms. As a bonus, the set also includes a cookie and a Sorgan frog, a couple of Grogu’s favorite snacks. It also comes with an informational plaque, along with a tiny Grogu minifig.

🎵 The AirPods 4, Apple’s most affordable earbuds, are matching their all-time low of $89 at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The standard model is a great option for iPhone owners who don’t need features like active noise cancellation and conversation awareness. That said, they offer the same comfortable design and sound as the step-up version with ANC. You also get the same IPX4 water resistance, up to five hours of continuous playback, and Apple’s voice isolation feature, so you’ll sound nice and clear on calls. Read our review.

📕 The 32GB Amazon Fire HD 10 is on sale for 50 percent off at Amazon, dropping it to a new low of $69.99. The device sits in the middle of Amazon’s Fire tablet lineup, with a 10.1-inch 1080p display and 3GB of RAM, which is more than enough if all you're doing is streaming movies and browsing the web. It’s lighter than the last-gen model, too, and comes with support for both the Made for Amazon Stylus Pen and Amazon’s handwriting recognition technology.
