Happy Halloween, folks! October 31st might be the last day of the month, but it also kicks off the holiday shopping season — and the early Black Friday deals are already trickling in. Right now, for example, Best Buy is offering early discounts on noise-canceling Bose earbuds, while retailers like Newegg are set to launch their own sales within the next few days (you can view the start dates of all the major Black Friday sales here).
However, if you can’t wait until then, many of the great deals we saw earlier this week are still available. Some items are even sitting at their best price to date, such as the Backbone Pro controller and Logitech’s ergonomic Lift mouse. Below, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to tide you over until the Black Friday madness truly begins. Now, let's dig in!

It’s almost November, and to celebrate, Best Buy is dropping a selection of early Black Friday deals on a host of products, including both headphones and earbuds. The latest Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, for instance, have dropped to their all-time low of $129 ($50 off) in multiple colors at Best Buy, with Amazon and Walmart matching said deal price.
The second-gen earbuds deliver excellent active noise cancellation, over eight hours of battery life with ANC enabled, and support for multipoint connectivity, allowing them to be paired with two devices simultaneously. While they don’t sound quite as good as the new QC Ultra Earbuds, the standard model still allows you to customize the audio to get the exact sound you want. They offer some unique software tricks, too, including a feature that turns the earbuds into a remote shutter for your phone’s camera. Read our hands-on impressions.

The Backbone Pro can turn your phone or tablet into a more traditional gaming handheld, and right now, you can buy the mobile controller at Best Buy for $134.99 ($35 off), an all-time low.
Backbone’s latest rechargeable gamepad resembles the model introduced in 2020, only with added features, the most notable being increased versatility. Along with supporting Android devices and iPhones over USB-C, the step-up Backbone can connect via Bluetooth to your iPad, Steam Deck, and even a smart TV. You also get larger ALPS joysticks and up to 40 hours of battery life, and if your TV supports the Xbox app, you can stream Xbox cloud games directly from your phone. Sadly, it still doesn’t work with the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation 5; however, you can capture clips, chat with friends, and livestream directly from your phone.

Anker’s 140W 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C Cable is a single, versatile cord that can provide power to your smartphone and laptop simultaneously. And right now, you can grab it from Amazon (with Prime) and Anker (with code WSPDV22SVFBJ) for $16.99 ($6 off), its second-best price to date.
Anker’s 2-in-1 cable lets you plug into a wall adapter on one end and splits into two USB-C connectors on the other, so you can charge your phone, a laptop, or a tablet from a single source. It can deliver up to 140W of power when paired with a 140W wall adapter, which is enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 50 percent in just 20 minutes. If you add a second device, the cable will dynamically divvy up output based on what each gadget needs. With two devices connected, the max power delivery drops to 130W when one of the devices is drawing more than 100W.

It features two standard buttons, a clickable scroll wheel, a DPI button for adjusting pointer speed, and two programmable thumb buttons. Unlike your typical mouse, though, the Lift pronates your hand in a handshake-like angle to alleviate tension.
