The upper bound of the point cloud density is limited by the resolution of the input images. If you want to increase the number of points you could try to change the following parameters:
- set --DenseMapperOptions.max_image_size=0
- reduce --DenseMapperOptions.fusion_max_reproj_error
- increase --DenseMapperOptions.fusion_max_depth_error
- increase --DenseMapperOptions.fusion_max_normal_error
