hello
I was wondering if it would make sense to be able to specify a bounding box (or sphere) after sparse reconstruction and to focus only on what happens in this volume ?
I've got reconstructions of vast places where I would like to push details in certains area ..
kudos for the new release.

Hi,

At the moment, you would have to manually construct that volume and find the reconstructed cameras within that volume. Then, you can modify the patch-match.cfg and fusion.cfg files to only perform dense reconstruction on those images.

The documentation here should help you in understanding the format of those configuration files: https://colmap.github.io/faq.html#manual-specification-of-source-images-during-dense-reconstruction

Let me know if you have questions.

Best,
Johannes
