Hi!

I have been trying to install Colmap after I read a review about it earlier this week. I have now tried several times, but I can't get it working. I tried downloading different versions (development-release, 2.1, 2.0...) but every time when I try to run Colmap.bat i recieve a windows message "Colmap.exe has stopped working"... and it all ends.

This is how I have done until now:

1. Download the Colmap 64 Windows v.2.1 (no Cuda), to my desktop
2. Unzipped the folder to c:/programfiles/Colmap
3. Started the Colmap.bat file
4. Recieved the message "Colmap.exe has stopped working"...

Do I need to run the file in another program? I am not skilled in computing, haven't run the commando prompt in windows for ages, and are wondering if I am doing totally wrong (I do have Visual Studio and CMake installed). I have an old laptop, with a regular Intel HD Graphics, so I realise the program probably need better hardware, but it shouldn't effect starting up the program? Or is the problem that I am running Windows 10?

All the best

//Benjamin

Can you try the development version? I will double check the latest build on Windows 10. The binaries are compiled under Windows 7, but that shouldn't be the problem.

Cheers,
Johannes

Just confirmed that it works fine under Windows 10.

Do you have a display attached to your system?
