Hello, I'm new to using github, so I'm not sure how an install would work. I download the COLMAP-3.6-mac-no-cuda.zip from https://github.com/colmap/colmap/releases/tag/3.6

However, once I allow my system preferences to open this unauthorized app, I double click on the file in my downloads to open it, but its icon pops up for an instant and then goes away, as if I automatically quit it.

I am currently using macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and Xcode 12.0.1

Please help!

Try looking in the console log (run the Console app - should be in
your Utilities folder). That utility logs info related to system
errors. There may be a couple of different logs to check. Look for the
latest errors (assuming you just tried to run colmap). More details

I'm having a similar issue and when I run the Console it reports...
Termination Reason:    DYLD, [0x1] Library missing

Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries

Dyld Error Message:
  Library not loaded: @rpath/libamd.2.dylib
  Referenced from: /Applications/COLMAP.app/Contents/Frameworks/libspqr.2.dylib
  Reason: image not found

The libamd2.dylib file is present in the Framework folder of the App contents.  I am not experienced with manual program installations and simply downloaded and tried to run this app.  Are there some steps I need to take to load the package?

Thanks!
