Anyone know if there is a COLMAP compile for ARM?  You may have to try compiling it your self

I tried and I got a terminal based version
my problem is that the installation is based on QT5 but I now have actually version 6
and at the point of cmake it says it can't find qt5 I understand but I don't know the path for qt6 and im not very good in working with terminal so I stuck on making a version with a gui

Version 3.6 Dev
Version 3.5

I have running nicely on the M1, MacMini

My version is M1 Mac mini 2020
BigSur11.5.1
16GB RAM version

View Activity Monitor and review the GPU and CPU status.

These two versions of COLMAP run very differently on an M, but they run, very well.

- Down load
- Move to Applications
- Run [I am not using the command line.  I just double click and run]

Yes, you may have a few crashes[I have. had similar crashes on a 2013 MacPro with 64GB men and 2019 MBP with 16GB mem], but I have made multiple models, then moved them to MeshLab where I then converted the data to an STL and printed on a 3d Printer.

!! The M1 Mac mini is faster than the other too platforms in completing using the same data.

!! One MUST have !! good images !!! to get great point clouds to render into a mesh.  [try the examples]

Non of my Intel Macs are CUDA enabled, nor am I running a Cuda Version on the Macs
