Hello,

I am a master student, I am using COLMAP to do the 3d reconstruction, it’s fantastic!. I want to add some GPS information of each image into COLMAP, I changed the values qw, qx, qy, qz and tx,ty,tz of the images table in the database, and I have searched the whole doc, and some source code, but didn’t figure out, how to make sure these imformation is used during the construction?

Looking forward for your reply

Thank you very much!

Best Regards

Yunshuang

I believe you are looking for the "spatial" reconstruction instead of "exhaustive". Or did I misunderstand the question?

There are different stages where prior position information can be used.

If you want to use the prior image position for efficient image matching, you can choose "spatial matching".

If you want to geo-register the reconstructed sparse model, you can use colmap model_aligner.

But if you want to integrate the GNSS information in the bundle adjustment, it's currently not implemented in COLMAP.
