Question about /asset/:tag/provision endpoint

Hi,
Previously when we hit the /asset/:tag/provision endpoint the primary role, contact, and profile would get set on the asset. The profiles.yaml file configuration was read to determine the primary role and a few other things. However, we now observing that this is not happening.
Does anyone have any guidance or insight about this?
