I know there has been some talk of Laser cutters here a little while ago. I was talking to a guy today who does plasma CNC work. He has a PlasmaCAM machine that can cut up to 4x4 feet sheets of steel or aluminium. He was offering $70 an hour + cost of supplies (which would be about $100-$200 for a sheet of metal)
