We made a little progress on the dust collection plate last evening.  we cut a pattern out of plywood.  We'll adjust the sizes a bit, re-design, then cut from the plexi later.  very fun to see the machine taking shape.

Awesome!  Got pix?  I gotta get down there.  Maybe Saturday....

I've built up g-code to cut the e-chain model from Joe's forum.  I've tested it in CutView, and it's probably about as good as I can get it without actually cutting on the machine.  Oh, and I ordered some 1/8" bits which showed up today.  Can't use that as my excuse any more...

excellent!  The e-chain will be a welcome addition.  No good pics of the "rough" dust bracket -- needs more design work to be cool.  Hope to get back at it on Wednesday.  1/8" bits will be good.  Nick needs them for his game console plate.

I've got three in hand, and a few other types of bits en route from China.  How can they ship a $10 part from China for $6?

I'll put them in the little box of bits whenever I get over to the space.  Maybe Sunday...

There are three 1/8" router bits in the bit box . I went by HF and got: 6 hearing protectors , allen wrenches, a 2' blow gun (for reaching the middle off the table easily/safely), a corded drill, and a few other things I can't recall right now.of yeah, some cheap misc router bits and a cup wire brush for making swirl patterns in things.

Had hoped to cut a little while I was down there, but time passes so fast... :-(
