Dear Church:

This is a friendly reminder that the 90th Homecoming Celebration at College Church will be THIS Sunday, October 27! We have a wonderful day planned, and we hope you’ll invite your friends and family to join us for this special occasion. Here are the main highlights:

• Schedule of Events:

  • Worship Service: Join us at 9 a.m. for a time of worship and celebration. Bruce McLarty, former minister and elder, will preach.
  • Bible Classes: At 10:30 a.m., We will have Bible Classes for all ages.
  • Fellowship Meal: Join us at 11:30 a.m. for a delicious meal and a chance to reconnect with friends, old and new. We need lots of desserts for the meal. If you can bring a dessert (or three), that would be great! 
  • Worship in Song: At 12:30 p.m., we will gather for a time of worship led by Todd Miller. 

• Welcoming Guests:
  • Let’s share closer parking spaces and prime auditorium seating with our guests. Since we enjoy these worship services every week, let’s make our visitors feel at home.
  • Please seek out visitors and help them feel welcome. Let’s help our extended family navigate their day of celebration.
  • Overflow seating will be available in the Family Room, which has closed-circuit video access to the worship service.

• A Special Note on Desserts:

  • Members, please bring a dessert to help us celebrate this milestone! Your contributions will add a sweet touch to our fellowship meal and enhance the joy of our gathering. We need lots of desserts!
