TWO THUMBS-UP
The City of Springfield deserves a big “Two Thumbs-Up!” for their College Street Corridor Planning. Vern Morgan not only encourage all parties concerned to contribute their ideas but he and many others with city planning also listened closely and implemented those thoughts into the initial plans. By the time series of meets concluded, Springfield, Missouri the Birthplace of the Mother Road seemed to a consensus. You could almost feel the entrepreneurial spirit of Route 66 rise from the rust and dust and ashes. Great job guys. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
