Grant Avenue Bridge

In the short-term, we already have a bridge over the railroad with
lots of room to add pedestrian facilities. Since Grant Avenue was
reconfigured to two-lanes plus a turning lane, there is an "unused"
lane on the bridge. Perfect for a wide greenway - maybe some angled
pull-in parking around the new "grand staircase" down to the West
Meadows walking/exercise trail somewhere in the middle of the bridge.
(Also perhaps another option for an "amenities station" on the link
system.) A little lighting along and/or under the Grant Avenue Bridge
might turn it into a nice highlight as seen from the West Meadows.
