Manager, Health Services (DCPS)

The position serves as the DCPS health liaison to other DC government agencies, particularly the DC Department of Health and DC Health Care Finance, in order to bring health programs and services to schools, such as the school nurse program, school based health centers, and oral health services. This position provides technical assistance to schools regarding DCPS school health policies. The position also oversees the New Heights program for expectant and parenting students, a program located in 13 DCPS high schools, with a team of 16 staff members, including one direct report.

 

Qualified candidates are mid-level, public health professionals who bring content expertise on child/adolescent health, pregnancy prevention and school health.
