Dear Francis Heylighen,

I am Dr. Javier Berrocal from University of Extremadura, serving as a Guest Editor for the Elsevier publication Internet of Things (CiteScore: 12.1 / Impact Factor: 6).

I would like to invite you to contribute to a special issue titled ‘Collective Intelligence for the Internet of Things’. This special issue will feature papers on collective intelligence that combines human and machine intelligence to create a global brain able to effectively coordinate to solve shared complex problems in IoT environments. You can read the full special issue scope here.

If your submission is accepted for review, it will be evaluated by at least two independent researchers who are experts in this topic. Please note that the paper may be desk-rejected if it does not meet the journal’s scope or guidelines. Elsevier uses early detection tools to ensure all papers in this special issue meet the highest ethical standards.

Internet of Things supports both open access and subscription articles. If you would like to publish open access, information on the article publishing charge (APC) can be found on the journal homepage.
