ETHICS Framework: From Archives to Data

Reaching out to share the release of the ETHICS Framework: From Archives to Data (https://digitalcommons.fiu.edu/record/31667), developed in collaboration with my colleagues Rhia T. Rae and Sonia Santana Arroyo at Florida International University.

This framework was developed to support reflective and responsible decision-making throughout the lifecycle of archival data projects. It is designed as a practical tool to help librarians and archivists document decisions, identify risks, support accountability, and encourage ongoing reflection during the creation and use of data derived from archival materials.

Hope others find this tool useful. We are also open to feedback regarding improvements!
