Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to attend this program at the 2009 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago:

Location: Room W-190b, McCormick Place West

Three presenters will discuss collection development and management issues for three types of digital repository (i.e., institutional, disciplinary, and data repositories).  They will focus on selection criteria, content recruitment, and the role of digital repositories in scholarly communication.

Dianne McCutcheon, National Library of Medicine (presenter for PubMed Central)
Sayeed Choudhury, Johns Hopkins U. (presenter for data repository)

Raym Crow from SPARC will be the moderator.

This program is co-sponsored by ALCTS CMDS Collection Development and Electronic Resources Committee, ACRL Scholarly Communication Committee, and ACRL EBSS E-Resources in Communication Studies Committee.  It is funded in part by a generous donation from ARTstor.
