Hi All,
Sorry for the late notice.
XMAS DESSERTS – SCANDINAVIAN XMAS TRADITION - XMAS WISHES – SECRET SANTA.
For more info read on………
Xmas dessert/sweets
Mini Xmas puddings – thank you Robyn
Xmas Cake
Fruit mince pies – thank you Coles
Rum Balls - thank you Hilda
Please bring along something if you can. No savoury snacks as St Lucy’s will not allow this (they want to sell you food of course.)
Xmas wishes
Children make wishes to Santa for their gifts; as adults we all hope for changes at life and work but often didn’t really have the time and efforts to make it happen. Here is an opportunity to write them down and give ourselves a few months to achieve them (and a nice excuse to reward yourself a nice Xmas present if you do make that happen!)
We will put them in the Xmas stocking, that I will guard with my life, and check them out at the Colleagues at the end of the year gathering.
Ideas….. Write the travel journal you always wanted to do; play my (Ariel) ukulele every week; do a performance before Xmas; save $XXX for travel; learn to bake, knit, change the car oil or the basic level of a foreign language; walk home from walk …
Scandinavian Xmas tradition of making Christmas Heart Pockets
This will especially be fun after a drink or 2.
Secret Santa
$5 limit & we will do the “swapping without consent” version as long as we have enough people participating. I will bring wrapping paper & sticky tape if you need it. Just a treat from the lolly shop maybe if you have not already bought something.
The table will be decorated & we have a Xmas tree.
Lachlan Hurst from the NTEU is leaving so he & some of his colleagues will be joining us this afternoon.
So I hope to see you this afternoon at St. Lucy’s. I will be there from 4.30pm onwards.
COME & JOIN THE FUN!
