I am both happy and proud to announce a Very Special Issue of Computers and Graphics on Reproducible Research.

Executable papers feature working code within a scholarly paper. Please have a look at the Open Access Special Issue and let us know what you think.

In 2011, Elsevier launched the Executable Papers Grand Challenge, looking to the computer science community to address the question of how to replicate computational results within the confines of the research article. The first-place winner, the Collage Authoring Environment, has now been used to launch a special issue on 3D Object Retrieval with  Computers & Graphics, showcasing executable research results in articles published on ScienceDirect <http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0097849313000587>

Please let me know what you think

Best regards
