Hi folks,
I have just checkout the code from github and run it.
Since I'm not affiliate with MIT, I can't connect to the Indivo server. So I intend to setup what will need to make the system work (Indivo and Flash Media Server).

I look at the Indivo version of CollaboRhythm on github and know that this is the old version,  Indivo have just released Indivo X2 recently. I wonder is there any potential changes of new version that will break the codebase of current CollaboRhythm projects? Do we intend to migrate that version to more recent one?

Are there any other things I need to know to setup a system that can work?

Thank you,
Harry

Harry,

Thanks for your interest in setting up CollaboRhythm.

As things stand right now, you are going to need some help from us. We have not updated to Indivo X 2.0 yet because we have created some of our own custom data types in the fork of Indivo X that we are using. Fortunately, Indivo X 2.0 supports the addition of custom data types with pluggable xml files, but there is a non-trivial amount of work in us migrating to Indivo X 2.0. Instead, what we plan to do as a first step to helping people like you to get up and running with CollaboRhythm is to set up a public Indivo server for testing CollaboRhythm. This will be a good first step because we can just clone one of our existing private servers. Then, in the next few months, we will be migrating to Indivo X 2.0.

Can you tell me a bit more about your interest in CollaboRhythm, and your timeline for the work that you would like to do with it? We are excited about your interest and would like to do all that we can to support your effort. That being said, we have just started a big study, so most of our time is dedicated to that for the next few weeks. We should be able to get you going with the basics soon, though.

Our big goal is to reach version 1.0 of CollaboRhythm by our Health and Wellness Innovation event at the end of January. We hope that it will be much easier to pull CollaboRhythm and get started by then. This will include a public Indivo server already set up and up to date instructions. In the meantime, sorry for the poor documentation. We realize that it is behind, and we will be glad to lend a hand to get you through that.

John
