Hi Scott/all,

Are there best practices for uploading binary documents (e.g. photos) to Indivo?  I can't seem to find much information on this.  My best guess would be to upload one document that is the image file, and another document that contains the XML metadata about it?  Perhaps a vitals where the text value is the ID of the document storing the raw image? Is this right, or is there an easier way?

Specifically, as a part of our project we're implementing a way for users to take photos of the meals that they eat and want these images in the personal health record for later review by both patient and doctor.

Thanks!

Frank

We'll need to investigate this issue. I haven't created any binary documents on Indivo yet. I believe the best option will be too create a binary document and then relate it to some other document, such as a VitalSign.
