Hello Mr Setz
You may not need to speak with me at all, the first thing to establish is what type of business you wish to operate and that will dictate if a license is required or not.
Please let me know.
Regards
Daliah

Hi Chris,
If you are intending to offer Live Music between the hours of 8am-11pm for an audience of up to 100 people there is no requirement for a license.
If you intend to show films or pre-recorded material you will needs to apply for a temporary event notice to cover for this, The cost is £21 and one application can last for 7days at a time, the capacity cannot go over 499.
You are allowed 12 applications per year to a max of 21 days whichever target you reach first.
The TENs must be submitted 10 clear working days before the actual event day.
If you are televising anything live then there is no licensing requirement.
If you are looking to offer recorded music a temporary event notice will be required in order to do so.
Does that help?
One TENs application can cover for 7 days, then you have to have a break of 24 hours before utilising a next TENS.
So you can serve 3 TENs application to cover for 21 days, allowing for 1 days break in between each one.
Your 2hr talk with video clips for educational purposes will be ancillary and will not need a license.
Live events will not need a license, the fact that pre-recorded adverts are shown will be considered ancillary.
