Since ColdSpring has a much bigger user list and following than my
other relatively new framework for Swiz, I thought I might get a
request out here to try to get some extra broadcasting.

As you may or may not know, Liz has decided to rely on a a survey to
decide which topics are going make it into CFUnited next year. I think
this is a pretty piss poor way to decide how to chose topics as
apposed to using an open submission and a panel to lead the various
track decisions. Leaving topic choices up to a popularity contest is
no doubt going to leave behind many of the new names and new topics on
the survey.

Other than the fact that I would like to openly voice my opinion, I
also want to ask for your assistance. The Swiz Framework is a newcomer
to the Flex landscape, it is going to take speaking opportunities for
me to get the word out so that people even know to approach it. As of
now Swiz is not going to make the cut unless it gets some more votes
before the 20th, but you can count on a lot of exiting sessions about
Cairngorm . If you think that Swiz is an interesting or perhaps
important topic, please go over to http://cfunited.com/go/survey/166
and cast a few votes.

Thanks, Chris

Having checked out Swiz I can say that it should appeal to same group
of people who like ColdSpring or Java's Spring framework which should
be most people on this list. Personally I think it is way better then
Cairngorm.

I would be glad to do Swiz sessions for any UG, thanks Dave! Also thanks Kurt, no one who has actually tried using Swiz had told me it sucks and they hate it. I do know that there are so pretty big (and well known ;)) apps using it. But the word needs to get out, marketing I suppose is half the battle.

Definitely! Broadchoice evaluated a few frameworks and settled on Swiz
as the keystone behind our Workspace product. Vote early, vote often.
