SQLServer JDBC Driver - maximum number of connections

How could one determine this limitation on maximum number of connections exceeded?


[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]A problem occurred when attempting to contact the server (Server returned: Connection reset). Please ensure that the server parameters passed to the driver are correct and that the server is running. Also ensure that the maximum number of connections have not been exceeded for this server.

One thing maybe to check is the DSN is set to the "maintain connection",
could be the upgrade did not bring this over which might account to a large
number of sql connections being made.

The only times I have seen a similar error were with session limits on a
firewall and a windows OS reaching outbound connection limits.
