I'm trying out CommandBox, and can't get it to work. Only command that works is "help".

The self installation went without issues, but if I try the command "coldbox install cborm", I get:
CommandBox:wwwroot> coldbox install cborm
ERROR: Command "coldbox install cborm" cannot be resolved.  Please type "help co
ldbox" for assistance.

Any idea?

Welcome to CommandBox!

When you type "help" what commands show up?
Are there errors that get output when CommandBox starts up?
It sounds like the installation might have gotten interrupted.  Try deleting the .CommandBox folder from your user directory and simply run the executable again.

Also, note we have a dedicated CommandBox Google group here:

Thanks!

This is what I get when I type "help":

===========================================================================
CommandBox:wwwroot> help

**************************************************
* CommandBox Help
**************************************************

Here is a list of commands in this namespace:

 browse
 cat
 cd
 clear
 cp
 delete
 dir
 echo
 edit
 execute
 help
 history
 info
 mkdir
 mv
 prompt
 pwd
 quit
 recipe
 repl
 run
 tail
 touch
 upgrade
 version

Here is a list of nested namespaces:

 artifacts
 cachebox
 coldbox
 contentbox
 docbox
 forgebox
 game
 logbox
 namespace
 package
 server
 task
 testbox
 wirebox

To get further help on any of the items above, type "help command name".
CommandBox:wwwroot>
===========================================================================

Nope, not errors at all when CommandBox starts up. I did try to delete the .CommandBox folder, and run box.exe again, and it went through the install and startup without errors.

I'm on Windows 7 and ColdFusion 10 server.

Note about the dedicated group.

Thanks for any help with this.

Oh, it just occurred to me that "coldbox install" is not a command.  It's just "install".  Have you tried that yet?

When you said help was the only command that worked, I assumed you had tried several commands and they all failed.  Can you tell us exactly what commands you tried?

running "coldbox help" should tell you what valid commands exist in the coldbox namespace.

Thanks!

Ah... got it. Just tried "install cborm" instead of "coldbox install cborm" and it works!

Hmm... pretty sure I've seen "coldbox install" somewhere, but nevermind.

Thanks for your help.

You've probably seen "forgebox install" which is currently the full name of the command, but it's also aliased as just "install".

Thanks!
