I have participated in two different efforts like this in Rembert and Summerton years ago. It felt good to give back some of my good fortune, but it also felt so insufficient as a way to run the state. How many Einsteins do we lose simply because we don't fund poor communities like we do Richland and Lexington counties? Anyway, your old laptop will bridge the digital divide for one young mind.
It's so hard to run a volunteer project like this. Anyone that attempts it gets my vote and support.
