At our last Justice and Outreach Meeting Frank Stiefel from CCOP spoke to us about the Healthcare contract at the Camden County Jail for which bids are being solicited. The primary provider nationwide has a controversial record of service and is currently being sued in ten states. Please let people know about Monday night's meeting at Christ Our Light so we can spread the word on this important topic.

Claire,
Just got off the phone with Frank and Pat and I think we ate going to meet Monday the 23rd at 6:30 in the Ministry Center rather than Tuesday.

Frank Stiefel from CCOP contacted me yesterday wanting to know if anyone from Christ Our Light would be interested in attending a meeting they are planning on Tues March 24th to discuss more about the healthcare at the Camden County Jail. (They are also looking for a site and, after checking with Pat Slater we might be able to offer the school auditorium)  It seems he has been able to get someone who works in the Jail to come and speak with their group a couple of days later and they want to also brainstorm on what types of questions to ask.  I will not be able to attend as I work until 8PM on Tuesdays and Pat will not be able to stay beyond the first few minutes so if we are hosting we need someone there to close up after.  I was wondering if you could forward this message to any of your e-mail groups that might be interested as I no longer have an up-to-date Justice and Community Outreach list.  I think they were aiming to start at 6:30.

Thanks,
Jim Glass
