I was unable to make Thursday's meeting, but I would like to report on the sandwich making ministry: Last week the seniors group made over 300 sandwiches this week and our to-date total is over 29,100.

The next event is Sunday, March 29th where we are hoping to celebrate our 30,000 sandwich. We will be in the basement of the school from 8-11AM and I would like to extend a personal invitation to all on this committee to participate.

It will be a huge accomplishment to have made over 30,000 sandwiches since November of 2012.

No need to bring bread….the freezer is full and Janet is providing even more.

I agree that we should re-direct some of our sandwiches to the Cathedral and our team will discuss it on Sunday the 29th.

Sorry, Kathy. I read your report at the meeting, but somehow forgot to include it in the Minutes. We were all in awe of the 30,000 number and comments were made on how easy you made it all look. Your leadership and your faithful committee should be so proud of what you've accomplished.

Hope your Mom continues to do well with her rehab.

Thanks for thinking of my mom. The prayers are working wonders!

I just got back from having dinner with her and she is doing fantastic.

I brought her pizza from Bertucci's on Thursday night and we chatted for so long that I missed the meeting. She is tiring of institutional food…..as we all would after a month and a half.
