I'm getting an error when I 'make' Quarter:

../../../Coin3D-quarter-d812f7d6f1a9/src/plugins/QuarterWidgetPlugin.h:52: Error: Undefined interface
Makefile:882: recipe for target 'moc_QuarterWidgetPlugin.cpp' failed
make[3]: *** [moc_QuarterWidgetPlugin.cpp] Error 1

Running ./Coin3D-quarter-d812f7d6f1a9/configure suggests that I have Qt4 installed:

Quarter configuration settings:
  Qt version:                   4.8.7
  Coin version:                 4.0.0a
  Quarter version:              1.0.1a
  Quarter installation prefix:  /usr/local
  Qt Designer plugin path:      /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/plugins/designer

Although 'qtdiag' suggests I have Qt5 installed:

dave@LeC:/tmp/quarter-build$ qtdiag
Qt 5.7.1 (x86_64-little_endian-lp64 shared (dynamic) release build; by GCC 6.3.0 20170516) on "xcb"
OS: Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) [linux version 4.9.0-7-amd64]

Architecture: x86_64; features: SSE2 SSE3 SSSE3 SSE4.1 SSE4.2 AVX

Environment:
  QT_ACCESSIBILITY="1"
  QT_LINUX_ACCESSIBILITY_ALWAYS_ON="1"

Features: QT_NO_EXCEPTIONS QT_NO_ZLIB

Could this be the reason for the failure to compile?

Hi Dave,

Quarter is moved to CMake, the old auto-tools configure is no more updated from 28/02/2010 so it is probably not working.

Can you try to compile with CMake instead?
