We strongly recommend that you buy your astronomy equipment after
knowing and making sure that your hard earned money is invested in
buying a good equipment. Most brands, including popular brands sell
cheap refractors 50 mm, 60 mm aperture refractors – poor quality
Chinese scopes in their name. Now they are sold here in Coimbatore.
Avoid them..

Binoculars

8x40
7x50
10x50
Nikon or Olympus

Refractor

We recommend the 80 mm short tube
This not sold in Coimbatore at present.

Reflectors

Newtonian and other reflector types – minimum with 127 mm aperture
And 6 inches -150 mm- aperture is the ideal minimum requirement for
this hobby.

It is what you see through the telescope that matters and not how
stylish the telescope looks.

We are not connected with any sales outlets or companies that
manufacture or sell telescopes or binoculars but we can give you solid
advice for buying any astronomy equipment.
