This is great. We are looking to put a standby generator at our cabin and I wanted away to monitor it remotely. I know Generac has a service, but I hate 3rd party cloud services and would much rather integrate everything with my own hassio.
The GenMon project is well maintained.
If they updated your firmware there might be a potential issue with genmon.
The GenMon project gives you way more information then the Generac sold system; I was going to get the Generac system but it had not been released yet when I got the generator and then I stumbled across GenMon. I have been running GenMon on my generator for several years now; the only issue I have had is a failure of the SD card on the pi a few months ago.
I utilize MQTT to get info to HA; the Dev added a MQTT notification for system updates upon my request.
Ignoring AC input will force a Multi or Quattro into inverter-mode on certain conditions, even though there is mains or generator power available. For example to force the system to run 100% on battery and solar power.
Ignoring the AC input was first introduced on the Virtual switch tab. It is much easier to use the Virtual switch to configure this, however if you must disable the Virtual switch due to another necessary assistants then it is possible to use an alternative way.
The most common (or only?!) system where below assistant configuration makes sense is an AC-coupled PV installation, using Multis or Quattros with the old-type microprocessor (the 7 digit firmware numbers starts with 19 or 20, instead of 26 or 27).
Below screenshot shows a configuration for an AC-coupled PV system. It is running on an old-type microprocessor (19xxxxx or 20xxxxx) and can therefore not be configured using the Self-consumption Hub-2 v3 assistant.
Automatically start and stop a generator based on battery state of charge and actual load of a system. Note that automatic genset start/stop functionality is also available on the Virtual switch tab in VEConfigure, which is easier to work with.

i want to use an additional inverter (pv micro inverter connected to the batterie) to increase the total inverter power of my system. The micro inverter is connected to the batterie via a NO contactor. As controlling voltage i want to use the ACOut2 relais of the MP2. I configured the generator start and stop assistant as follows:

We have auto update feature that have ability to update files from our cloud storage. Its recommended to make all the files and folders are writable(755 permission recommended) to avoid any future issue while updating.
I purchased Mini Course Generator just to try it out. Other course generators I tried, needed tons of editing, so I wasn't expecting a lot from it as far as usable content, and expected to ask for a refund. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I did try it. It generated content that was usable to me and the quality was really good, even though I'll still have to edit it so it suits me and my clients better.
I haven't tried out all the features yet since I ran out of credits, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing. The only thing that would be better is more credits in case you need to regenerate items. On Tier 2, I created 2 quick courses without regenerating anything or trying other options such as the quiz feature, and then ran out of credits. So I'm thinking, that on Tier 2 you can create one good quality course a month with a quiz, and then edit it to make it the way you want.
