My vorbisFile.dll seems to be causing a crash after installing the SannyBuilder and Cleo libs. Any ideas on this? Running retail version of SA from DVD in a DVD/RW drive not using a NOCD Crack, of note I have been using CLEO this past week using a cracked version of the game no problem, decided I liked it and dropped the cash for it to support Rockstar. I hope I don't have to go back to using a NOCD crack. My CLEO radio never worked with the crack.

Yeah, did that about 10 mins after posting last night, after the reinstall a weeks worth of save games wouldn't work with v2.00 so I uninstalled it and reinstalled the cracked version. I still own the game so I'm not sweating it. Also can't get the CLEO radio working under this version, using hoodlum nocd v1.00.

But I can not run my exe file. I got this error message from SDL

Failed loading vorbisfile.dll

After I copy vorbisfile.dll into my exe folder I still get this problem.

Going back to this, I want to thanks for the reply. Never had it working though so I just switched Conan which worked out of the box. Pretty sure there is a bug with the vcpkg - sdl-mixer package since everything else worked without a hitch.

I'm currently running DCS open beta via Proton/Steam, and bought the F-14 today. Unfortunately, I can't control the plane. No matter what I do, the plane loads, but I can't get in the cockpit. Instead, the AI takes control immediately. The F1 key simply does not work at all (the starting view is the map rather than the cockpit). I've tried loading tutorial scenarios, the campaign, creating a scenario in the mission editor, and instant action. It's always the same: I can't take control of the aircraft.

I realize that running DCS through Proton isn't necessarily a supported user scenario, so I understand if it's simply incompatible for some reason. But I figured I'd at least ask and see if anyone has seen anything like this.

I found the solution. If I add a symlink from the game root directory to bin/vorbisfile.dll it works. Apparently F14-Avionics.dll couldn't load because vorbisfile.dll couldn't be loaded, so it's similar to the known issue with webrtc_plugin.dll.

2: GTA files such as ogg.dll, eax.dll and vorbisFile.dll are nonstandard, please re-install GTA:SA. These files obviously have a connection to files mentioned in your error message when launching MTA, so a contributing factor if not the actual problem already.

Some users with the same problem on graphics driver which doesn't seem to install along with the Nvidia installer found a solution in also installing the driver in Safemode, so if after all these steps MTA still doesn't work, run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) once again, and ALSO install the Nvidia driver in safemode if it allows so.

But when i start my GTA SA and load my saved game thats not downloaded just b4 its gonna start the game it crashes and sends me to the desktop and i right click and click run as, it says vorbisfile.dll is missing but i have vorbisFile.dll so i try to make the big F a little one but it doesnt work any soloution ??
