co'o vs mu'o in signing emails

Years ago people in Lojbanistan used to sign their emails "co'o",
goodbye. Then someone pointed out that they weren't really saying
goodbye, but just ending their latest contribution to an ongoing
conversation, so everyone switched to "mu'o", over. If you say "mu'o"
it means you're done speaking, and it's the next person's turn.
Saying "co'o" means that you're ending a conversation, that one person
or both are leaving.

You're welcome to stay here as long as you like after you've learned
the COI, to help teach the next generation of students or to help make
materials. But if and when you want to leave, that's when you would
say "co'o". Until then it makes sense to sign your emails "mu'o", and
just pass the talking stick to the next to speak.
