Dear Helen,
I am writing to share a quick update about ALNAP’s coordination work. As you know, we are currently working towards a meeting in June addressing four aspects of coordination. As an input to the meeting, we are organising a series of webinars, as well as producing a short paper and video on each issue.
The first webinar is on February 23rd, and focuses on coordination across a response (including linking national/subnational levels, connecting clusters/sectors, and addressing cross-cutting issues). Registration is still open at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3758243265902203138
The second webinar will address the role of national actors (government and national NGOs) in humanitarian coordination. We have just confirmed the date, this webinar will be on March 22nd and you can now register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1316497321264786690
The third webinar will look at decisionmaking in coordination, and will be in April – date TBC. The fourth webinar will be about information management and will be in early May – date TBC.
Please do share these links with any colleagues who may be interested in participating. The webinars are all ‘web panel’ format, maximising the opportunity for engagement of participants. If you cannot attend, there will be a recording shared after the webinar – and you can still register and submit a question for the panellists.
All best wishes,
Leah
