Flesch-Kincaid discrepancy

Hi,

I'm using the Easability tool and although my main outcome of interest is Narrativity, I'm finding a different Flesch-Kincaid level than calculated by both MS Word (e.g., 3.9 vs. 4.2) and a third party online calculator. None of the three is consistently higher or lower. Any guesses as to why this is happening? Did the formula change?
