Welcome to the Cars of GTA discussion group. I'm Brian, the owner of
the Cars of GTA website (http://www.carsofgta.com). I created this
group to give people a chance to interact and discuss the cars in the
GTA series (especially the most recent game, San Andreas), and also
discuss any other topics of interest. I hope you find this group
informative and entertaining.

I'd like to point out that the Banshee is NOT a mazda miata, is a Dodge
Viper, it's been in EVERY GTA and it always looked like a viper (GTA,
GTA2, GTA3, obviously not vice city, and now san andreas)

Also I believe the Super GT is probably a supra, just because of the
name and the taillights (supras have 3 sets of taillights)

Voodoo: The Banshee looks more like a Mazda Miata or Honda S2000 to me
than a Viper. There was a Viper type car in GTA 1 and 2, but I believe
it was called a Beast GTS instead of a Banshee.

While there are a few basic similarities between the Banshee and the
Viper, I think it more closely resembles a Miata.

I don't believe the Super GT is a Supra, there is another car that was
mentioned that looks more like it (one of the cars you can modify at
Wheel Arch Angels). At the moment, I forget which one it is.

Hello there,

My name is Jesse and I saw a advertisement on Amazon.com by Google
about carsofgta.com and I would like to be part of this disscussion
group and to start I would like to say I don't remember a Viper type
vehicle on GTA2.

The Banshee in GTA 3 and San Andreas looks more like a mix between a
Dodge Viper and A Shelby Cobra. To me, the vehicle ,in no way,
resembles as a Mazda Miata. The body of the Banshee looks longer than a
Miata.
The Banshee resembles as one of those high priced, high perfomance
roadsters on the market today.

My theory: Rockstar Games used features from different kinds of
convertibles and just made one to their liking. Maybe it's one of those
vehicles where it has no background. What a mean is that the Banshee is
not based on any car we know.
