How to read input from user at run time?

Hi Team,

I want to take input i.e., User ID and Password from users, which command do I need to provide in Action field?

I don't want to hardcode User ID and Password in tool

Also, when I select Action as Highlight for my provided object, its not highlighting the textbox.

Please help to get query resolved. Thanks!

HI,

CITS has provisions to create data sheets for your project, please leverage the same to parameterise your test cases instead of hard coding every test data. Please use the action "set" for the same, refer here for more information on actions in CITS,

Also for the highlight action to work, please check the properties of your web object and check if you are able to identify the same without any issues while executing your CITS test cases, if so you should be able to highlight the web element.
