RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems Analytics Technician for Aero Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics (RM&D) will help develop and manage automated analytics / rules running on the operating data collected from Aero Assets around the world. Key tasks will include. * Develop, duplicate or scale up analytic code in the GEIP Troubleshooter environment * Capture and track rule performance for single or multiple turbine assets * Create reports based on key performance indicators (like cycle time, PoD, FAR, latency etc.) * Administrate DEV server for access and testing of development rules * Serve as liaison between RM&D team and Aero IT to resolve rule deployment issues * Extract data from multiple systems (Oracle, KSP DVS, PAC Clarify) QUALIFICATIONS: * Degree in engineering or computer science with strong programming skills * Experience with relational databases and/or historians * Strong MS Excel, MS Access, Query building capabilities * Experience working with Microsoft .NET /Silverlight a plus * Hands on Experience on Proficy HMI/SCADA - iFIX / Cimplicity * ODBC,SQL * Web-based reporting, * Root cause identification * Development wizard interface * Quick learner, Self-driven DESIRED: * Familiarity with GE Intelligent Platforms Knowledge Solutions Product Suite. iHistorian, Troubleshooter/Cause+, * Experience developing automated analytics for power generation or aviation equipment * Familiarity of Control CoE products. * Experience working with a global team.
