All of the following must be true of your company for it to qualify for the 2022 Inc. 5000. Your company must: have generated revenue by March 31, 2018 have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2018 have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2021 be privately held, for profit, based in the U.S., and independent (not a subsidiary or division of another company).       Why should my company apply?   The top 500 companies will be featured in Inc. magazine and all 5,000 companies will be featured on Inc.com, each receiving its very own dedicated company profile. These profiles receive millions of impressions each year. Being on the elite Inc. 5000 list gives your company greater credibility with clients, investors, and the media, often leading to meaningful connections that can help you grow your business. It’s also a public acknowledgment of your team's hard work!       What are my odds of making the list? The Inc. 5000 looks at revenue for two years, 2021 and 2018. If your company made more gross revenue in 2021 than it did in 2018, then your odds of making the list are very good!       What’s the application process? Pretty simple! Fill out the application, which should take only a few minutes. Then we’ll ask you to verify your 2021 and 2018 revenue figures. That’s it.       How are companies ranked on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list? Companies are ranked according to the percentage growth of their annual revenue over the three-year period from 2018 to 2021. To assess this, we ask for the base year’s and the recent year's revenue figures. This gives us the three-year growth rate.
