In theory, if you pair the device with both Windows installations and thentransport this registry key from the last-paired to the other, then both installations will beidentical from the point of view of the bluetooth devices.
Apk Share is a very easy way to transfer and share apps, games, media, and files to friends, family, and colleagues. This is a convenient way to share applications and content without the need for any other media or storage.
You can send files, games, and even media, such as pictures, videos, music, and audio files. If you want to share apps, you will need to install the tool on the recipient's device and then tap "Send".
With the camera turned off, now one simply opens OI.Share on the phone, taps on the Import Photos tab, and the phone finds the camera's bluetooth signal, turns on the camera's wifi, and then also automatically connects the phone to the camera's wifi. This later functionality is new. In sum, just tap the Import Photos tab, then tap yes when queried that connecting the phone to the camera's wifi is ok, and then voila, the thumbnails on the SD cards are visible for download. After done importing, the app turns off the camera.
The problem is that I have no clue what's causing this error to appear. I think it started appearing after I clicked the "share" button in an app - but even after fully rebooting my device, I STILL keep getting this error.
@RossC Thanks for the ideas! I decided to try disabling apps that potentially use bluetooth one by one to see which one fixed the issue and I found the culprit (I think)! Turns out it was Automatic app (car app) that seemed to cause it. I've filed a bug and kept it disabled for now. :) Thanks guys!
I'm looking for a way to let users share data (word pairs) with other users of the same app. This means that my app should be able to send the data via Bluetooth/airdrop or a similar method to the same app on another device.
I have done some research and encountered a lot of information about sharing data between different apps on the same device and on using a UIActivityViewController to share data in general, but I'm actually looking for a way for the user to click a share button, then popping up a list of nearby devices (like Airdrop devices), have the user select one and then have the app on the other person's device automatically open and display or use the sent data (after accepting the transfer of course).
Can you make sure you are typing the same thing as in the gif above? The format should be "btd", then space, followed by whatever device you are searching for. Just typing "btd" should give you a list of all the previously paired bluetooth devices.
I made this change but now I'm getting the following error because a lot of my bluetooth devices contain a single quotation mark `'` e.g. "Nathan's Speaker". I'd prefer to not have to update the names on all of those devices, so I will most likely not use btd or btx, unless that can be fixed.
I only installed it after the upgrade - I was searching for easier ways to manage bluetooth given it's new location in the menubar. I was double-checking the status of the blueutil and noticed there were no blueutil files in usr/local/bin which made me think it didn't install correctly. I ran the blueutil install again, and got these results in terminal:

The second icon on the left-hand side of the status bar is an icon of the MyPhoneExplorer Client. I often use MyPhoneExplorer to synchronise the FP2 with the PC over USB cable. Moreover, the icon in the status bar two left of the bluetooth icon is indeed screen mirroring via USB. I sometimes control the FP2 from the PC. This is the reason why the screen mirroring icon is visible in the status bar.
As I transition to the Mac, I often find myself needing to transfer a file back and forth quickly. I could create SMB shares on both systems, but this requires both to be connected to a wired or wireless Ethernet LAN. Luckily, both Vista and OS X offer functional Bluetooth sharing technology for quick, easy file transfer on the fly.
Dual audio allows you to send your media audio to two different Bluetooth devices at once. This means that not only can you use two pairs of headphones at one time, but you can share between two different sets of Bluetooth speakers as well. After you pair both Bluetooth devices to your Samsung Galaxy phone, you just need to access your Media panel on your Quick panel.
Provided you have done what Vlad said (enable the Bluetooth sharing) and paired the devices (which you seem to have done), I have absolutely no problem to send files via bluetooth using my Nexus-S. I have ICS 4.03 now, but I had 2.3.x (where X is 3, 4, 5 and 6 if I'm not mistaken).
Once you have the devices Paired, if the Mac is in range and with BT enabled, the phone can send files because the Mac should be on the phone's list of paired devices. I recall that in 2.3.x sometimes it won't work, but retrying to turning on/off BT was usually enough. I don't use it a lot, but I just tried (after months of probably never touching bluetooth on either device) and I got this:
Androids let you share files over Bluetooth, including images, sounds, and videos. While you can't share installed apps through Bluetooth, you can share links to app downloads in the Play Store via Bluetooth, as well as Android Beam. You can also share APK files, which are used to install apps on Android over Bluetooth.
I am using LGKp500 phone. My software version is KP500AT_V10h. Its a simple touch phone. It's not a smartphone. Now can anyone tell me, when Im pairing my phone with another phone using bluetooth (simple version), does my contacts and messages gets visible in the other person's phone? I mean does the other person gets to see all of my phone's contacts, messages?
Bluetooth App Sender APK is a great tool for checking all the apps or programs installed on your Android smartphone. Not only that, but you can also use this app to share APKs and other files via Bluetooth or WiFi.
To send files via a wireless connection, simply mark the files you want to share, then select how you want to transfer them. This app is designed to transfer files via Bluetooth, so this is usually the best option.
Bluetooth App Sender APK has all the basic features required to share apps, songs, documents, images, and videos with ease. All you have to do is select the files you want to send, and the app will take care of the rest by transferring them to others via Bluetooth.
Sharing Wi-Fi via Bluetooth is not a native feature supported by most devices. Bluetooth technology is primarily used for short-range wireless communication between devices and does not have the capability to share Wi-Fi internet connections.
To share your Wi-Fi internet connection with another device, you can use alternative methods such as creating a Wi-Fi hotspot on your device or using tethering options like USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot tethering.
Pair & Share is a unique feature in Speedify that allows you to easily share Cellular connections back and forth between multiple Speedify users on the same local network, without the need for additional cables or adapters, AND it's definitely faster than sharing over Bluetooth as your connection over Pair & Share can be up to 10 Mbps.

Bluetooth has been a staple on every Android smartphone ever since they began taking over our lives. Despite the fact that every device seems to have the ability to share files with one another, there is a limit to the types of files that can be shared between them.
