A Drum & Bass Star on the Move
Our November episode of DI Journeys celebrates the triumphant return of a living legend in the Drum & Bass scene - Commix. Our guest is an artist whose rise to
fame was witnessed over countless incredible releases for labels like Good Looking Records, Creative Source, Hospital Records,
Shogun Audio, and Metalheadz. Commix’s music has blasted into the D&B stratosphere with an awesome, soulful, rolling take on the genre – inspiring bass addicts
from all spectrums of the scene – the darker, more brooding underground, and the home listening, jazz and soul saturated electronic music lovers alike.
We were fortunate enough to chat with Commix over Skype whilst he was in the middle of packing up his entire life in London to transfer to his
new home base of Berlin, where the artist is set to transport his career to new heights, and return to his throne of one of Drum & Bass’s elite names.
During our chat, we discuss his origins, where he went for the past 5 years, and what he envisions life will be like as
a Drum & Bass recording artist in a house and techno saturated city like Berlin. We also take some breaks and
listen to some awesome tunes selected by Commix, including some old classics, and even some house music inspired by
Berlin’s underground scene. Be prepared for anything and everything.

To say we’re excited is an understatement, as we’ve been doing this for 9 years now – and each one is just as special, and equally as awesome. Fans of progressive house,

Streaming continuously through the whole length of the weekend of December 9th - 12th, our Progressive House Special is a weekend-long dance music party, featuring exclusive sets
from nearly 60 DJs including your favorite hosts across the
Progressive House channel as well as their specially invited guest DJs. Our beloved hosts include Gai Barone, Paul Hazendonk, Julian Rodriguez, CJ Art, John
Johnsson, and many more.
