5:30pm next Monday, 25th July @ Alma Technology, 81 First Ave.,
Sawtell. See
http://groups.drupal.org/node/163524 for more details and
to RSVP (which nobody ever does).
I wanted to tackle two topics at this meeting; theming, which is
currently the chief concern of a few local developers who have this
year jumped into the deep end of the Drupal pool, plus the use of git
awesomeness for development/staging/deployment, which of course is not
particularly Drupal-specific, so even if you've not drunk the Drupal
kool-aid, this may be of interest.
As always, plenty of room for other issues. HTML5 and responsive web
design (
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/responsive-web-design/)
seem very hot topics at the moment, so there may be some talk about
whether the world is ready to drop it's apps and .mobi domain names
and join Tim Berners-Lee back on the One Web, and how developers are
going to address the resulting challenges (i.e. Dreamweaver just ain't
gonna cut it no more).
See you there.
Matthew.
