There is a talk on Rails in Toledo coming up in November featuring Joe Fiorini all the way from Cleveland:

If we can get some Ann Arbor Rubyists to make the drive down it will be even more of a multi-city event. This will be held at Seed Coworking in downtown which is within walking distance of numerous bars/restaurants.
