What exactly means REPAIR? Repair means that only video and audio portions can be repaired that are not lost: On some of your corrupt files, it MAY NOT repair anything at all, on some files it MAY repair some video portions, and on some other files it MAY repair both video and audio portions (It fully depends on the grade of corruption).

You may use Single-user licenses only for a single user. You accept that the software anonymously collects technical data (codec name, frame resolution, etc.) of your camera model. Problem in general with file corrupt after recovery is that they were not correctly recovered. This is true for any file type but maybe a bit more for video as these tend to fragment by default. So even if a file repair tool manages to repair the file, in the sense that it can be played, chances are that it's missing part of the video data.
Wondershare also sells a program to repair video (and I think other image formats) files. They have a free version which is very nice of them, since I could have the program try to repair the vide file, which it teold me it couldn't fix it. Again, that's nice of wondershare to let the users first check if the program will repair thier files before purchasing. So good shout-out to them!!!

I tried repairing the file using the version 1.5 and got it partly working. After re-encoding with ffmpeg (got some errors there), I realized, that a part of the audio was gone. In the logs (gladly the Video Repair Utility has some), there was no further mentioning of audio after a given time. I'll take it as-is ...
Please note: this demo version of the program only repairs the first half of your target video. But that's enough to prove it works (or not), and it does at least save the partially recovered movies to disk (you're not restricted to an in-program preview).
Does any one have a good solution to repairing a damaged .mov file recorded on Photo Booth? Computer lid was accidentally shut and caused the file to be damaged. I retrieved it by right clicking the Photo Booth app and opening the folder in Finder. File would not play on Quicktime or VLC.
1. _id=5 a video repair app costing EUR99 for unlimited use and EUR49 for 5 repairs. A free download which repairs 50% of the video to test it before you buy is a great feature because many others I've tried look like they are ripoffs that don't do anything. You need to supply a good file from the same camera which has to be on a list of supported cameras. The recovery file works on VLC but not on Quicktime. However the video and audio are not synchronised for some of the files repaired. So far it is the best app I've tried but the video-audio mismatch can be annoying and if there is another app that fixes that I would appreciate a recommendation.
2. is a service and charges on a per film basis. You download the app and provide a good file. An analysis is provided and you get a preview of still images of different parts of the video and an assessment is given online on whether they can fix the video. Then it gets expensive - $49 for a 10 minute clip. Since option 1 above was available I did not try this option but at least it seems like it would work.
3. remosoftware.com requires downloading an app and providing a good file. The repair process never started and apparently it only supports Photo Booth version 4 (current version is 9). At least there is a free download to test it first.
5. -recovery.com/ appears in many searches for this problem but it does not work and did not appear to have a free download feature. It does not require a good file. It processed the bad file, claimed it was repaired and saved it. However the saved file did not exist. There is then a feature to upload the damaged file and they will repair it but it could be phishing and I would never let a third party get a hold of my files.
I'm a video editor and I face .mov corruption issues almost every other month. Over the last 5 months even I got to experiment with the software range available online. My experience was a little different from yours. For me, Stellar Video Repair worked the best and almost every time. I have tried their newer version that claims to be better.
The second that worked about 50% of time was Grau Online.
Rest didn't work at all for me.
Hey guys i m new to forum and i m experiencing a huge problem with my gh5. i m a videographer and i was using that camera with adata cards 175mbs class3 the thing is that it ruined 3 ceremonies...i was shooting the footage checking at the footage at playback seemed great but after when i went back home the footage was damaged, really dont know what to do since i bought video repair Grau but didnt fix the problem , send the footage to aero but also nothing there, tried every programme that exists online for repair the footage but nothing came up, is there anywhere or anything that you can recomend?? Also still dont know if thiswas a problem of the cards or of the camera...

Click scan and wait. If the fix is successful your clip will be in the box "Repaired movie clips (blank if movie was not repairable)". If your fix is not successful, double check that you selected the right files for the right inputs. For additional support, contact Grau GbR.

Establishes and executes work involving the planning and directing of comprehensive programs for the operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of Government facilities for the wing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) programs. Provides critical input to the Base Civil Engineer (BCE), through the CE Commander Facility Investment Matrix (FIM), Base Master Plan, Space Utilization Plan, Asset Management Plans (AMP), S-Files and Facility Utilization Board (FUB) agendas. Prepares, develops and defends operating and maintenance resources for Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP), requirements to the Planning, Programming and Budgeting Systems (PPBS). Develops and implements long range plans for the maintenance or repair of real property facilities to include, but not limited to the life cycle of roofs, airfield pavements, fuels storage, corrosion control, and utility systems, and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE).Contributes to the management and execution of lead, mold and asbestos abatement plans, energy conservation initiatives, refrigerant management programs, and contingency response plans that affect the base and any local support agreements.
3. Financial Management. Functions as the Civil Engineer Federal Resource Advisor and primary representative to the Base Financial Working Group (FWG). Supervises and directs the formulation,integration and advocacy of organizational financial budgets and provides inputs to support PPBS issues. Serves as primary consultant to unit commander for all CE financial issues. Provides financial planning, direction, and determination of funding requirements for facility operation and maintenance programs. Develops procedures and techniques used in develop, present, defend and evaluate organizational financial inputs.
4. Operations Management. Directs and supervises recurring maintenance and repair, through customer based work order requests, self-help, and building manager programs. Establishes and executes service contracts that include Custodial, Refuse, Ground Maintenance, etc. Manages,directs and provides oversight for facility surveys, and prepares all documentation for identified requirements. Supervises staff responsible for ordering any required materials and ensures all outstanding work is completed. Develops and exercises contingency response plans necessary to sustain mission essential activities in the event of failure or interruption of primary systems.
5. Construction Contract Management. Plays a pivotal role in maintenance, repair and construction activities. The position provides critical direction in contract development and execution.Incumbents input to Statements of Work (SOW), project books, and the design process to ensure successful execution of the Base Master Plan.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
