Dear All,

 

I am glad to inform you that one of alumni Rear Admiral Ashish Kulkarni has been selected for the award of Vishist Seva Medal for his remarkable service in the Indian Navy. At present, he is Rear Admiral at Karwar base of Navy. He is from Mechanical Engineering 1987 batch of CoEP. I have known him since his childhood and have witnessed his successful journey in academic and professional areas. He was an active member of Cricket Team and its captain. He also took part in Purushottam and Firodiya Karandak.

 

After few years of his service in the Navy, he was sponsored to pursue M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur. He was deputed by the Indian Navy in Russia for training in nuclear submarine. His son Kaushal is pursuing his B.Tech. at our college (Mechanical Engineering).

 

It is a moment of pride for all of us. Please join me in congratulating him and wishing luck for the future.
